Last week, we had a couple of visitors. First, we had Nick and Midori (what a pretty name) from Dorset. They had bought some of our Original Goat cheese from Elijah Allens, the fine food shop in Hawes which was started by the current owner Richard’s great-great grandfather Thomas in 1860.
Richard told Nick and Midori where we are (on the little industrial estate opposite the fab Kudu bikes and next door to The Goodlife and on the way to extremely up-market and manicured caravan park at the bottom end of Hawes) so they came down to see us!
We showed them around the dairy and the wholesale and waxing side and it was a pleasure to meet them. Then Arthur from our old location and his friend Maureen popped by and spent the day watching us make cheese. Thanks for dropping by, we love talking to people about our cheese.
